Jonathan Okunaga, S.E.

Jonathan Okunaga has practiced structural engineering at Nagamine Okawa Engineers Inc. since joining the firm in 2011.  His professional experience includes the design for military facilities, design for educational and institutional facilities, and load ratings for highway bridges.  He also has experience in Antiterrorism / Force Protection (AT/FP) and pier and wharf load capacity analysis.  His projects have included Renovation of the Administration Building at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park in Kaneohe, St. Francis Healthcare System at Liliha Courtyard Improvements, Aloha Air Cargo Facility Improvement in Hilo, James B. Castle High School Cafeteria Expansion in Kaneohe, and H-1 and H-2 CCTV and VMS Replacements for the Department of Transportation.  Jonathan Okunaga has his Bachelor of Science degree from Illinois Institute of Technology and a Master of Science degree from the University of California - Irvine.
