Umauma Bridge

Nagamine Okawa Engineers initially performed field investigations for emergency repair to severely corroded steel that was originally constructed in 1910.  After emergency repairs were completed NOEI then continued to provide rehabilitation design for this historic, 6-span, 281 foot long bridge located on the Hamakua Coast.   The rehabilitation included design for widening and strengthening of the bridge while satisfying historic preservation concerns.
